Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm)

Eligibility

Minimum qualification for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy part-I course — A pass in any of the following examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics.

Intermediate examination in Science:

10+2 examination (academic stream) in Science; Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

Scholarships

Scholarships under various government schemes is also available.

Course Structure

The duration of the course shall be for 2 academic years with each academic year spread over a period of not less than one hundred and eighty working days in addition to 500 hours practical training spread over a period of not less than 3 months.

Medium of instruction and examinations

Medium of instruction and examination shall be in English.

Working days in each semester

Each semester shall consist of not less than 100 working days

Attendance and progress

A candidate is required to put in at least 80% attendance in individual courses considering theory and practical separately.
